NORFOLK - Funeral services for John Adam Brownley, 49, husband of Mrs. Nellie
Brownley, who died at the Mt. Alto Veterans Hospital, Washington, DC, on June
11, were held at Union Christian Church, June 16 with the Rev. J. H. Mann,
pastor, officiating.

Mr. Brownley was the son of the late Rev. and Mrs. J. A. Brownley of Mathews
County, VA.  Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.  Pallbearers were: Floyd
Ashburn, J. H. Gray, John McQueen, L. Brown, Lenwood James and Sidney Gibson.
