Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, September 3, 1991 
Amos L. Brown Sr., 80, a retired truck driver, died Aug. 30, 1991.

Mr. Brown was born in Williamston, N.C.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Harris Brown; a son, Amos Brown Jr. of Olney,
Md.; three sisters, Lena Bell Rodgers of Williamston, Lula Mae Brown of
Philadelphia and Betty Wiggins of Wilmington, N.C.; and two grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Hale Funeral Home by the Rev.
J.L. Kearney Sr. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Family and friends will
assemble at 1:45 p.m. in the funeral home.
