Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, May 11, 1991 
Wilford L. Brown Sr. of the 900 block of Rugby St., a retired postman, died May
9, 1991, in a hospital.

Mr. Brown, a native of Norfolk, was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 40
years. He was a member and vestryman emeritus of Grace Episcopal Church.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy H. Brown; two daughters, Winifred B. Johnson
of Virginia Beach and Ardelia B. Clay of California; two sons, Wilford L. Brown
Sr. of Virginia Beach and Thomas H. Brown of Cincinnati, Ohio; eight
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday at Grace Episcopal Church by the
Rev. Joseph N. Green Jr. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The family will be
at the residence. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
