Virginia Beach - Henry Brown, Sr., 90, of 916 E. Newtown road died in Ghent Arms 
Nursing Home after a long illness. A native of Norfolk he was a son of the late 
Henry and Mrs. Rosa Brown and the widower of Mrs. Virginia Brown.

He was a self-employed farmer for over 50 years and member of Ebenezer Baptist 
Church.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Consuela E. Hunter of Norfolk and Mrs. 
Gloria B. Jones of Baltimore; five sons, Fred and Roy M. Brown of Baltimore, 
Persell Brown of New Jersey, James Brown and Henry Brown of Norfolk; 11 
grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held in Ebenezer Baptist Church by the Rev. T. K. Jones 
with burial in Jones Memorial Cemetery. Jones Funeral Home was in charge of 
arrangements.
