NORFOLK - Daniel Corrie Bruce, 85, of 3320 Bapaume Ave., died Tuesday at 5:55 
p.m. in a hospital.
A lifelong resident of Norfolk, he was a son of Andrew Jackson and Mrs. Ida 
Albertson Bruce.
He was a retired chief engineer of the Old Norfolk City Market.
He was a 55-year member of Atlantic Masonic Lodge 2.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Emily Bruce of Pasadena, Calif. and Mrs. Ida 
G. Sykes, and Mrs. Mary A. Seely of Norfolk; three nephews; and five nieces.
A Masonic memorial service will be held in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 
Tidewater Drive, tonight at 8.
A funeral service will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery by the 
Rev. Dale Burden of Fairmount Park Free Will Baptist Church.
