Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch March 4, 1908
The funeral of Horace M. Bruce, who died Sunday at his apartments in the 
Rochambeau, took place at 10:30 o’clock this morning from Oliver’s funeral 
apartments on Freemason street, Rev. Dr. George E. Booker, of Epworth Methodist 
Church, officiating. The deceased was a native of Michigan and had been residing 
in Norfolk with his daughter, Mrs. Baker, and his granddaughter, Mrs. Keane, for a 
few months. He was in the 69th year of his age.
