Brumsey, aged 7 years, 3 months and 15 days. The funeral will take place from the above residence FRIDAY, January 2d, at 3 p.m. Friends and acquaintances respectfully invited to attend. ***************************************************** LITTLE BOYS BEAR BODY OF TOY PISTOL'S VICTIM The funeral of little Walter A. Brumsey, one of the "toy" pistol victims, took place from the residence of his parents, 27 Clay Street, yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock. The services were conducted by Rev. Mr. Hatcher and the interment was in Elmwood Cemetery. Richard Moore, Paul Wilson, Vernon Holland and Wilson Shepherd, little boy friends of the unfortunate child, acted as pallbearers. Virginian Pilot January 3, 1903 Additional Comments: Elmwood Many children died from wounds caused by a toy pistol they received at Christmas. Tetanus developed from the wounds which led to death.
