Norfolk - Richard Laurence Bruun III, passed away over the weekend. He was 36 
years old. He was predeceased by his father, Richard Bruun (Big Rick). He is 
survived by a daughter, Marley Bruun, two sons, Chase and Cameron Bruun, his 
mother, Anna Bruun, his siblings, Rachael Heiser, Ashlie Ranhorn, Justin Cando, 
Kate Cando and hosts of friends and relatives. He was affectionately known as 
"Little Rick". He had a very warm heart and outgoing personality. He was an avid 
fisherman and enjoyed hunting. In his youth, he excelled at sports and made 
lasting friendships with those around him. He will surely be missed by all that 
knew him. A private service will be held for the family. Memorial donations may be 
made to St. Pius X School, 7800 Halprin Dr., Norfolk, VA 23518, where he spent the
