Bryan. The funeral of this young lady took place from the residence of her parents on Cumberland street yesterday afternoon, and was largely attended by the friends of the deceased, the Star Social Club in a body, and the pupils of the school which she attended. The services were conducted by Rev. 0. S. Barten, of Christ church, and the casket was completely covered with flowers, among them two handsome designs—a star and shield—from the Star Social Club made of white roses, with the letters “S. S. C.” imbedded in forget-me-nots. The following young gentlemen acted as pallbearers: O. M. Belote, Wm. Henley, H. D. Oliver, C. L. Wright, Peter Land, H. S. Fentress, Frank Rose, Thos. J. Arrington, Harry T. Story and D. Morrissett.
