The Virginian Pilot Thursday August 31, 1961
Mrs. Frances Gorman Cherry Bryant, 78, died Tuesday in her home 1039 Jackson 
St., after a long illness.
Born in Madison, Maine, she was a daughter of Thomas Francis and Mrs. Betty 
Estella Bunker Gorman. She lived in this area 60 years.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Frances E. Wallace and Mrs. Nonie M. 
Smith, and one son, Paul W. Cherry, all of South Norfolk; 20 grandchildren 
and 18 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held in Graham Funeral Home Friday at 2 p.m., with 
burial in Magnolia Cemetery.
