A native of Wallaceton, she had resided in the Southside all her life. She was a daughter of the late Edward N. and Lucy Ferebee Jackson and wife of the late James (Samuel) Pleasant Bryant. Mrs. Bryant is survived by her two daughters, Mrs. James W. Goforth and Mrs. E.R. Porter, of Portlock; three sisters, Mrs. V.L. Harper of Norfolk County, Mrs. T.W. Baugham of Norfolk and Mrs. C.A. Harrell of South Norfolk; five brothers, C.F. Jackson of Immaculata, Pa., H.E. Jackson of Wallaceton, E.R. Jackson of Indian River, M.O. Jackson of Elizabeth City and D.L. Jackson of South Mills, N.C. The body was removed to the Graham Funeral Home, Jackson and Jefferson Streets, South Norfolk, where funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
