Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Tuesday, June 2, 1992 
Calvin David Bryant of the 1600 block of Loren Crescent, a finance consultant,
died May 30, 1992, in a hospital.

Mr. Bryant was born in Norfolk. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church
and Knights of Peter Claver. He was employed with Tidewater Mortgage Co. for
five years.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Bryant; three daughters, Regina Bryant of
Tampa, Fla., Antoinette Bryant of Panama Canal and Brucie Bryant of Tallahassee,
Fla.; three sons, Andre Bryant of Hampton, and Calvin D. Bryant III and Gary D.
Bryant, both of Sunbury, N.C.; his mother, Dorothy Barnes of Tallahassee; his
father, Calvin Woodis of Portsmouth; three sisters, Vernea Randolph of
Tallahassee, Virginia Beasley of Virginia Beach and Lillie Triplett of
Crawfordville, Fla.; a brother, James White Jr. of Tallahassee; a grandfather,
Bennie Nunn of Tampa; and five grand-children.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in St. Mary's Catholic Church by
the Rev. Walter L. Barrett. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will be
from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in Pretlow Funeral Home, Norfolk. Friends may join
the family at 115 E. 41st St., Apt. 2-A, Norfolk, at 11 a.m. Thursday for the
procession.
