Virginian Pilot November 30, 1909

The funeral of the late Mrs. Martha Belle Bryant, who died at her home, 44 
Fenchurch street, yesterday morning at 3:30 o'clock after a brief illness, will 
be conducted from the residence of Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Tatem, in Maple avenue, 
this afternoon at 3 o'clock.  Rev. W.A. Smith, pastor of the Berkley Avenue 
Baptist Church will officiate and the interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.  
The deceased was a former resident of Berkley ward, was a native of Franklin 
county, Va., was 53 years old, and is survived by one daughter, Miss Pattie M. 
Bryant.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Martha Belle Bryant was conducted from the 
residence of Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Tatem in Maple avenue yesterday afternoon at 3 
o'clock.  Rev. W.A. Smith, pastor of Berkley  Avenue Baptist Church, officiated 
and the interment was in Magnolia Cemetery.  The attendance was quite large.
