Virginian Pilot June 4, 1970

Mrs. Angie Lee Bryant, 88, of 519 Riverside Drive died Wednesday at 8:28 a.m. in 
a nursing home.
A native of Princess Anne County, she was the widow of Charlie Bryant and a 
daughter of Napoleon Bonaparte and Mrs. Mary Edmund Spratt White.
She was a past matron of Esther Eastern Star Chapter 37 and a member of Cottage 
Place United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, Ernest Aubrey Murden of Portsmouth; two sisters, Mrs. W.W. 
Hinnant and Mrs. Blanche Creekmore of Virginian Beach; three brothers, Harvey E. 
White of Norfolk, Roland J. White of Virginia Beach and Gilmer A. White of 
Florida; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Cottage Place United 
Methodist Church by the Rev. Franklin  M. Mills. Burial will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery, Norfolk, with Snellings Funeral Home in charge.
