Norfolk Journal and Guide, Jul. 15, 1975

Norfolk - James (Acey) Bryant, Sr., of 861 Lexington St., died Sunday, June 15,
in his home.

He was a native of Edenton, NC, and he was retired from Sanderlin Produce Company.

Survivors include three daughters;  Miss Diane Beslow, and Mrs. Clarice Smith,
both of Norfolk, and Mrs. Jean Robertson of Fayetteville NC, a son James Bryant
Jr., and 13 grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Wednesday, June 18 in Hale Funeral Chapel, by the
Rev. J. L. Kearney.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.  Hale Funeral Home had
charge.
