 The Virginian Pilot Friday December 10, 1976
Miss Lydia Ruth Buchanan, 6, a daughter of Troy Jackson Buchanan Jr. and Mrs. 
Beverly Chambers Buchanan of 5370 Sir Barton Drive, died Wednesday afternoon in 
Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters.

She had been ill for four years.  She attended the Rock Church, Virginian Beach.

Besides her parents, survivors include a sister, Miss Helen Elizabeth Buchanan 
of Virginia Beach, maternal grandmother, Mrs. Lydia Burdette of Alexandria; and 
paternal grandfather, Troy Jackson Buchanan Sr. of Chesapeake.

A funeral will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Rock Church by the Rev. John 
Gimenez.  Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 
Tidewater Drive Chapel, Norfolk.
