Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, December 27, 2003 
On Dec. 23, 2003, our beloved Raymond Leon Buffaloe , 42, passed away in Norfolk.

A native of Norfolk, Raymond was employed in the Public Works Department of the
city of Norfolk, and was previously employed with the Chesapeake Public Works
Dept. He will be remembered as having a smile and a joke for everyone he
encountered. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his devoted and loving grandfather, William Buffaloe Sr.;
mother, Mozell Ellis; three sons, Raymond, Daquan and Zaiquise; three daughters,
Tammy, Rolonda and Shaquana; a granddaughter; three sisters, Gloria
Johnson-Grimm, Cynthia Ellis and Rita Johnson; six uncles, Robert Buffaloe ,
Bernard Buffaloe , William Buffaloe Jr., Benjamin Buffaloe , Thomas Buffaloe and
Fredrick Buffaloe ; two aunts, Gwendolyn Davis (his second mother) and Carolyn
Neverson; and a host of cousins and a multitude of friends.

A funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Riddick Funeral Service chapel. A
viewing will be held Sunday from 1 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home with the family
receiving friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. The
family will assemble at the funeral home at 10:45 a.m. Monday morning.
