Virginian Pilot October 9, 1972

Mrs. Cecilia Young Buffkin, 69, of 2229 Lynn Road, died in a hospital Saturday.
She was a lifelong resident of the area and a member of Star of the Sea Catholic 
Church.
She was the wife of John W. Buffkin and a daughter of Walter J. and Mrs. 
Catherine Young.
She is survived, besides her husband, by a brother, Charles D. Young of Norfolk; 
two sons, John W. Buffkin Jr. of Washington and Charles R. Buffkin of Green Bay, 
Wis., a daughter, Mrs. E.G. Harrison of Silver Spring, Md. and 16  
grandchildren.
The body was taken to H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road.
