Norfolk - Mrs. Lula Buie of 2316 Cary avenue, who died April 28 after a long
illness, was given funeral rites Sunday in New Calvary Baptist Church by the
Rev. Vann Mouring. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in
charge.

A native of Lumberton, NC, she was a daughter of the late Donald Gilchrist and
Mrs. Pennie Gilchrist and the widow of William J. Buie. There are no known
survivors.
