The Virginian-Pilot, Thursday, August 10, 1961

NORFOLK - Clarence Bullock, 60, of 2525 Ludlow St. died Wednesday at 5:40 a.m. 
in a Norfolk hospital after a short illness.

He was a son of Pete and Mrs. Carrie Bullock and was born in Norfolk. He was a 
retired pipefitter of the Naval Base and was an Army veteran of World War I. He 
was a member of First Calvary Baptist Church.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Susie Bullock; one son, Clarence C. Bullock of 
Philadelphia; and one daughter, Miss Roma Bullock of Norfolk.

The body was taken to Hale Funeral Home. a funeral service will be held in First 
Calvary Baptist Church Sunday at 1:30 p.m. by the Rev. C.E. Griffin, pastor. 
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
