The Virginian Pilot Saturday December 8, 1962
Walter Harrison Bunch, 74, of 933 E. Ocean View Ave., husband of Mrs. 
Lillian Roughten Bunch, died Thursday in a Norfolk hospital after a brief 
illness.
A native of Norfolk, he was a son of George and Mrs. Dora Stone Bunch.  He 
was a retired carpenter.
Besides his widow, surviving are two sons, Walter Harrison Bunch Jr. and 
George Ray Bunch; a daughter, Mrs. Dora Lee Jobes; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie 
M. Pizzo and Mrs. Etta E. Ayres; and three grandchildren, all of Norfolk. 
The body will be taken from Derry-Twiford Funeral Home to Magnolia Cemetery 
for a funeral service Sunday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Charles H. Landis of 
Bayview Baptist Church.
The family has requested that flowers be omitted.
