Norfolk Journal and Guide, May 26,1962
Claudie Vivian Bunch, 52, of 1044 Hannah street, an employee of the Commissioned 
Navy Officers Club for 15 years, was given final rites last week at Mt. Gilead 
Baptist Church.

The Rev. John B. Gray, Mt. Gilead pastor, officiated.  Burial was in Calvary 
Cemetery under direction of H P. Price Funeral Home.

A native of Myrtle, VA, Mr. Bunch died in  a Norfolk hospital May 10.  He lived 
in Norfolk 45 years.

Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Betty Bickey, Mrs. Alethia Bennett, Mrs. 
Florence Bennett and Mrs. Mildred Stacy of Norfolk;  a niece, Mrs. Jean Lewis, 
who also lives in Norfolk, and other relatives.
