NORFOLK - Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Bunting, 94, of 220 W. 32nd St., the widow of 
Norfolk Fire Chief George W. Bunting, died in her home Friday at 8:30 p.m.
She was a daughter of John H. and Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Ruch Rekling and a 
lifelong resident of Norfolk.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Gladys B. Hahn of Norfolk; two 
granddaughters, Mrs. Lucille Bryant of Norfolk and Mrs. Margie Bryant of 
Virginia Beach; and three great-grandchildren.
The body will be taken from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to Elmwood Cemetery for 
a funeral service Monday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Ernest L. Honts of Talbot Park 
Baptist Church.
