Virginia Pilot Tuesday April 14, 1908
                           FUNERAL OF A.V. BUNTING        

The funeral of the late A.V. Bunting, who died Sunday afternoon at 5 o'clock at 
his residence in Oakdale, will be conducted from the residence this afternoon at 
3:30 o'clock.  Mr. Maine of the Christian Science church, Norfolk, will officiate 
and interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.  The deceased was 32 years old and was 
a native of Norfolk county and born near Churchland.  He was a well known and 
respected citizen.  He is survived by a wife and several small children.  He was a 
highly esteemed member of Thomas Jefferson Council No. 109, Jr. O.U. Americans, 
which lodge is called out in a body to attend the funeral this afternoon.
