The Norfolk Virginian Pilot September 19, 1944


Mrs. Annie E. Bunting died at her home on the Suffolk Boulevard, Norfolk 
County, yesterday morning at 1:30 o’clock after a long illness. Mrs. Bunting 
was the wife of the late George and Mrs. Harriett Shreder. She was formerly of 
Norfolk and a resident of Norfolk County for the past two years. Besides her 
husband she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Austin and Mrs. Betty 
Clark, of Drivers; four sons, William Mark and Grant Ensley, of the U.S. Army; 
a sister, Mrs. Fannie Maywood, of Norfolk; a half-sister, Mrs. A.F. White, of 
Richmond; two brothers, Albert Shreder, of West Haven, and Shepard Shreder, of 
Panama Canal Zone, and several grandchildren.
The body was taken to the funeral home of Paul B. Warren & Son where funeral 
services will take place tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock. Burial will be in the 
family plot Cedar Grove Cemetery.
