Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - October 5, 1994 
Eddy G. Bunting, 90, of the 5400 block of Old Providence Road, a retired cable 
splicer, died Oct. 3, 1994, in his residence. 
Mr. Bunting was born in Norfolk County and retired in 1967 from C & P Telephone 
Co. after 40 years. He was the widower of Ilma A. Bunting. He attended St. 
Brides Episcopal Church, Chesapeake, and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers 
and the Old Timers Club of South Norfolk. 
Survivors include a son, Norman L. Bunting of Zeyphrhills, Fla.; three 
grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. 
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday in Magnolia Cemetery, 
Norfolk, by Father Michael Godderz and Father William C. Hoffman. Francis A. 
Gay Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
