Virginian-Pilot April 12, 1915
The funeral of Mrs. Josephine Burch took place at 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon 
from the residence, 318 Fort street. Rev. George W. Swope, pastor of the Central 
Baptist church, conducted the services and the pallbearers were J. A. Johnson, W. 
R. Leland, R. L. Causey, J. C. Billups, S. B. Ironmonger, W. T. Hudson. There were 
many beautiful flowers. Interment was in Elmwood cemetery.
