Virginian Pilot June 14, 1911 

Mrs. Mary Ann Burford, widow of Martin L. Burford, died at the home of her 
son-in-law, J.F. Barrett, 106 Avenue B, Atlantic City Ward, Monday night.
The deceased was born in Virginia and had been a resident of Norfolk for fifty 
years.   She is survived by four sons, and two daughters, Thomas J., C.C., 
William and Charles L. Burford, Mrs. James Galvin and Mrs. J.F. Barrett.  The 
funeral will be held from the residence of Mr. Barrett, at 11 o'clock this 
morning.  The interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
