H. Murphy, on Bowden's Ferry Road. The deceased was 79 years old and had lived in Norfolk fifty four years. She leaves three daughters, Mrs. J. H. Murphy, Mrs. W. S. Sykes, Mrs. W. T. White, and one son, R. W. Burford. The services were conducted by Rev. Edward P. Miner, of St. Luke's Episcopal Church. The pallbearers were: Stephen Humphrey, W. T. Somers, C. A. Banwarth, E. C. Vanderberry. Interment took place in Elmwood Cemetery. ____________________________________________________ Virginian Pilot & Norfolk Landmark, November 17, 1911 The funeral of Mrs. Margaret Ann Burford was held at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon from the residence of her son in law, J. H. Murphy, on Bowden's Ferry Road. The services were conducted by Rev. E. C. Miner, of St. Luke's Church. Stephen Humphries, Charles Bansworth, W. T. Summers, and Charles Vandeberg acted as pallbearers.
