Norfolk Landmark March 4, 1891
Mrs. Mary Eliza Burgess died at 11:30 o’clock yesterday morning, of pneumonia, at 
her home in Brambleton ward, in the sixty-sixth year of her age. The deceased was 
a most estimable lady and the widow of the late Henry Burgess. The funeral will 
take place at 3 o’clock tomorrow afternoon from the First Baptist Church.
