BURGESS, WILLIAM MOORE – At the residence, No. 218 Fifteenth street, Friday, June 
5, 1942, at 12:30 o’clock a.m., WILLIAM MOORE, husband of Mrs. Carrie Gertrude 
Thumm Burgess and son of the late Edward and Mrs. Emeline Elliott Burgess, in the 
65th year of his age. Services at the chapel of the H. D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments, No. 1501 Colonial avenue, SATURDAY AFTERNOON at 3 o’clock. Friends of 
the family are invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood cemetery.
