Virginian Pilot Oct 21, 1940


Mrs. Lenettie A. T. Burk, aged 78, widow of W. H. Burk, died at a local 
hospital yesterday morning at 9:15 o’clock. She was a native of York, Pa. and a 
resident of Norfolk for the past 55 years, residing at 619 Redgate Avenue at 
the time of her death.

The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial 
Avenue, to St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, of which Mrs. Burke was a member, for 
funeral services tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock, with the Rev. E. Ruffin 
Jones, D. D., the rector officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
