Norfolk Virginian Pilot July 12, 1954

Mrs. Agnes Theresa Conway Burke, wife of Kerr Burke and daughter of the late 
Anthony and Mrs. Ann Philbin Conway, died at a Norfolk hospital yesterday at 
12:35 p.m.
She was a native of Ireland and a resident of Norfolk for the past six years, 
residing at 7703 Restmere Road at the time of her death.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. William J. Anderson, 
of Boulder, Col. and Miss Elizabeth Burke, of Washington, D.C.; one son, Francis 
Joseph Burke, of Norfolk; three brothers, the Rev. Patrick Conway, of Rocky 
Ford, Col., Dr. John Conway and Anthony Conway, both of Ireland and three 
sisters, Mrs. F.J. Gavagan, of Rocky Ford, Col., Mrs. Edward Canavan and Mrs. 
Charles Flynn, both of Ireland.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church, of which Mrs. Burke was a member, for services 
tomorrow at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St .Mary's Cemetery. Rosary services will 
be held at the funeral apartments tonight at 7:30 o'clock.
