Norfolk Journal and Guide, Nov 9, 1957
Frank Burke, 56, 1332 Chicazola street, died October 15 at his residence at 
2:40 p.m.  He was the husband of the late Mrs. Harriett Burke and the son of 
Mrs. Ida Lamb.

He was a native of Elizabeth City, NC, and had lived in Norfolk for 30 
years.  He was employed by International Longshoreman as a freight handler.

Surviving him are his mother, Mrs. Ida Lamb;  four sons, Clarence, James, 
Philmo and Frank Burke;  and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services were held Sunday, October 20, from Morning Glory Funeral Chapel at 
3:30 p.m. with the Rev. F. P. Wise, pastor of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church 
officiating.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Morning Glory Funeral Home in charge.
