Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, October 29, 1992 
Daniel L. Burl of the 1300 block of Bolton St., a self-employed contractor, died
Oct. 22, 1992.

Mr. Burl was born in Bluefield, W.Va. He was a member of United Methodist
Church. He was the widower of Wilhelminia N. Burl.

Survivors include three daughters, Mary L. Burl, Ethel J. Penn and Virginia A.
Burton, all of Norfolk; three sons, John P. Burl of Sacramento, Calif., Steven
A. Burl of Atlanta and Daniel L. Burl of Norfolk; nine grandchildren; and three
great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Friday at Metropolitan Funeral Service by
the Rev. Alvin B. Thomas. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Family and
friends will assemble at 1315 Bolton St. at 11:30 a.m. for the procession.
