Virginian Pilot September 3, 1967

Napoleon Bonaparte Burlas Jr., 47, of 1318 Marion St. died in a hospital 
Saturday at 1:45 p.m.
A native of Norfolk, he was a son of Mrs. Kate Acra Burlas of Norfolk and the 
late Napoleon Bonaparte Burlas Sr.
He was a member of Norview Baptist Church, American Legion Post 60, and Veterans 
of Foreign Wars and a veteran of World War II.
Surviving, besides his mother, are four sons, Alva L. Burlas, Ronald Burlas, 
Donald Burlas, and Steven Burlas of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be held in Cox Funeral Home Tuesday at 11 a.m. Burial 
will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

At a Norfolk hospital Saturday, September 2, 1967, at 1:45 P.M., Napoleon 
Bonaparte Burlas, Jr., son of Mrs. Kate Acra Burlas and the late Napoleon 
Bonaparte Burlas, Sr., died in the 48th year of his age.  Funeral services will 
be conducted at The Cox Funeral Home Tuesday morning, September 5, 1967 at 11:00 
o'clock.  Friends are invited to attend.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
