                    L. A. Burlas, 49, Cleaning Official

Louis A. Burlas, 49, of 1350 Sunset Drive, retired president of Tidewater 
Cleaners, died Tuesday at 1:45 p.m. in a hospital.
A lifelong resident of Norfolk, he was the husband of Mrs. Maureen E. Burlas and 
a son of Mrs. Katherine Acra Burlas and the late Napoleon Burlas. 
Besides his widow and mother, survivors include two daughters, Miss Geraldine 
Anne Burlas and Miss Katherine C. Burlas and a brother, Napoleon B. Burlas, all 
of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
The family has requested that flowers be omitted and that contributions be sent 
to the Heart Fund.
