Burlas, 82, son of Peter and Mrs. Elizabeth Diggs Burlas, a native of Princess Anne County and a life-long resident of this section, died at the residence, 1907 Llewellyn Avenue, yesterday at 3:55 p.m. Surviving are three sons, N. B. Burlas, L. J. Burlas, both of Norfolk, and J. Earl Burlas, of South Norfolk; two daughters, Mrs. Emory McCourt, of Manor, Pa., and Mrs. Thomas J. Hipple, of Norfolk; 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. J. P. Hampshire, Mrs. W. H. Harrison and Mrs. Elizabeth Wade, all of Norfolk. The body will be taken from the residence to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, of which Mr. Burlas was a member, for funeral services tomorrow at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the residence tonight at 9 o'clock. Burlas, Louis N. - At the residence, No. 1907 Llewellyn Avenue, Thursday, March 9, 1950, at 3:55 o'clock p.m., Louis N., son of the late Peter and Mrs. Elizabeth Diggs Burlas, died in the 83rd year of his age. Remains will be taken from the above residence to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for funeral services Saturday morning at 10. o'clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend.
