NORFOLK — Kate Acra Burlas, 90, died June 18, 1987, in a Virginia Beach hospital. 
She was the widow of Napoleon B. Burlas.

Mrs. Burlas, a native of Gloucester County, retired as owner of Tidewater Cleaners 
after many years. She was a former volunteer at the Union Mission and a member of 
Zion Grace United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a sister, Myrtle A. Buchanan of Virginia Beach; six 
grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Mary’s Cemetery by 
the Rev. Theodore A. Bashford. The family will be at Cox Funeral Home from 7 to 8 
PM today. Memorial donations may be made to Hope Haven.
