She was the widow of C.A. Burnett and is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Karl J. Garris, of Philadelphia and Miss Sarah Elizabeth, of Norfolk and one son, W.M. Burnett, of Norfolk and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the McKendree Methodist Church tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Mrs. Burnett was stricken suddenly yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock just as she was leaving an auxiliary meeting at McKendree Methodist Church. She was taken home and died six hours later. Paralysis was given as the cause of death. Her husband died suddenly six months ago in the old Hemmingway School Building.
