Norfolk Journal and Guide, May 2,1970

Norfolk - Funeral rites for Mrs. Etta Burrell, of 1859 Sandlewood court were 
held recently in Queen Street Baptist Church.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery 
with Hale Funeral Home in charge.  Officiating was the Rev. J. Jasper Freeman.

The Norfolk native was a daughter of the late Mason and Mrs. Mattie Riley 
Wiggins.  She was a member of Queen Street Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Charles H. Burrell and Edwin L. Burrell, both of 
Norfolk;  and one daughter, Mrs. Vivian Bryant of New York;  seven 
grandchildren;  and three great-grandchildren.
