Funeral services for Ernest Burroughs, who died at his home, 529 Fenchurch 
street on September 21, were held at the Queen Street Baptist Church on 
September 26, with the Rev. R. A. Laws officiating. Mr. Burroughs had been a 
member of this church for 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ledger 
Burroughs, five sons, two daughters, three grandchildren, and other relatives. 
Interment was made in the family vault at Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral 
Home in charge of arrangements.
