Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark May 12, 1930

Mrs. Margaret Burroughs - Funeral services for Mrs. Burroughs, widow of Dr. 
J.G. Burroughs, a former pastor of the Old Chestnut Street Methodist Church, 
Berkley, who died Monday afternoon at St. Cloud, Fla., were conducted at the 
family plot in Magnolia Cemetery, yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. 
C. Fred Williams, pastor of Memorial Methodist Church, officiating.
The body arrived from St. Cloud Thursday afternoon and was taken to the Graham 
Funeral Home, 124 East Berkley avenue.
