A native of Sunbeam, Va., she grew up in Portsmouth and later moved to Dayton, Ohio. She was the widow of Edward Robbins Burroughs Jr. She is survived by a son, Bruce G. Burroughs of Hampton, Va.; two daughters-in-law; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk, by the Rev. Henry Suddeth. The family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 919 N. Michigan Ave., Suite 1000, Chicago, Ill. 60611. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling arrangements.
