Burrow, widow of Walter P. Burrow and a lady widely known in Norfolk, died at 8:30 o'clock this morning at her home, No. 204 Duke Street, having been sick for some time. She leaves two sons, W.B. Burrow and V.C. Burrow, both of Norfolk. The deceased was a Miss Kuhn, of Baltimore and had resided in Norfolk for about forty years. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a lady of many endearing qualities. She was especially active as a member of Pickett-Buchanan Chapter, Daughters of the Confederacy, and never tired in assisting in the advancement of its interests and those of the Confederate veterans. The funeral will be private. *************************************************************************** The funeral of the late Mrs. Victoria T. Burrow, relict of Walter P. Burrow, was held from the family residence, No. 204 Duke street, at 10 o’clock a.m. yesterday, and the service was conducted by the Rev. Father R. A. Drake, pastor of the Sacred Heart Catholic church, of which the deceased was a member. The floral tributes sent by friends were very handsome. The remains were laid to rest in St. Mary’s cemetery. Following were the pallbearers: Major A. Myers, C. F. Smith, Captain J. J. Burroughs, H. B. Bagnall, Peter Smith and Victor Parks.
