Burt, 34, died January 23. He lived at 3036 Schooley Avenue and was a member of New Central Baptist Church. A veteran of World War II, he had been employed at the Colonna Shipyard. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Thelma Burt; one daughter, Valerie Burt; mother Mrs. Bettie Burt Mills; one brother, Thomas Burt; and one sister, Arleen Richardson. He was a graduate of St. Paul College and many of his class mates attended the rites which were conducted Sunday, Jan. 26, at the New Central Baptist Church. The pastor, Rev. Mr. Westbrook, officiated. Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Chatman Funeral Home in charge. Additional Comments: Mt.
