Virginian Pilot Friday July 19, 1907

The funeral of R.T. Burton, who died in his home on Main street Wednesday night, 
will take place at the residence this afternoon at 4 o'clock.  The interment will 
be made in Magnolia Cemetery, Berkley ward.  Rev. J.O. Cox, pastor of South 
Norfolk Christian Church, will officiate.  He was born in Petersburg, Va. and was 
59 years old.  Six children--Mrs. J.W. Rogers, Miss Hattie Burton, J.N., J.W., 
R.E. and G.H. Burton--survive him.
