NORFOLK - Milton B. Burton of 1260 Picadilly St. died Friday in a local 
hospital. He was a native of Greenville, N.C., and was the husband of Mrs. D.E. 
Miller.

He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service after six years. He was a member of 
C.H. Mason Memorial Church of God in Christ.

Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Alma Eley of Detroit, Mrs. 
Christine Corum and Ms. Tony Denise Miller of Norfolk; two sons, Milton Burton 
Jr. of Norfolk and Sgt. Alfonza Burton of Germany; four sisters, Mrs. Irma Wade, 
Mrs. Shirley Garner and Mrs. Jesse McRae of Norfolk, and Mrs. Evelyn Wallace of 
Washington, D.C.; two brothers, Elder Louis Hines and Marvin Hines of Norfolk; 
and five grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are pending at Graves Funeral Home. The family will be at 
1461 Proescher St.

Additional Comments:
NORFOLK - A funeral for Milton Burton of 1561 Proescher St. will be held 
Thursday at 3 p.m. in Graves Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Calvary 
Cemetery. The family will assemble at his home.
