BUTCHER, ETTA BOCKOVER – At the residence of her son, William Read Butcher, 374 
Lexington boulevard, Richmond, Va., Sunday afternoon, February 26, 1939, at 2:20 
o’clock, ETTA BOCKOVER BUTCHER, widow of W. R. Butcher, in the 80th year of her 
age. The body will be taken from the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to the Epworth 
Methodist Church for funeral services TUESDAY, February 28, 1939, at 12 o’clock 
noon. Friends of the family invited to attend. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
