ROCKVILLE CENTER, N.Y. — The Rev. Rix P. Butler Jr., 73, of 406 Merrick Road, a 
native of Norfolk and the husband of Beatrice E. Butler, died Friday in a Rosedale 
hospital.
He was a priest at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Rosedale.
The funeral will be conducted at 9 a.m. Tuesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, 
Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. Edmond T.P. Mullen. Burial will be in Elmwood
Cemetery.
